So recently I experienced sleep coming over me while I was completely conscious, and it was... interesting. To describe this as best as I can I’ve got to add a little back story..Within my third eye chakra (or.. my “mind’s eye”. Whatever you’d like to call it) there is a room. This room is usually where my “mind” is when I’m thinking. It’s also the place within my mind where I receive the most messages from Spirit. It’s basically a manifestation of what I imagine my “mind” looks like. I usually go here at the end of the day, while laying in bed, and go over the events of the day. When “going over” memories I have had during the day, I’m almost remote viewing them - I feel as though I’m separate from my brain, and I’m watching these memories being pulled from where they’re stored and almost projected like a video clip. Side Note: So the other night, while watching my memory video montage, I noticed a strange wave begin to take over. It started on the left and began to ripple across my consciousness. It wasn’t an organic type of ripple though, like water.. it appeared more electrical. Almost exactly like how old TVs looked when they were powered down. I’m talking old, turn dial TVs. When you click the knob and the power is cut from the TV, there’s a short little wave at the point of disconnection.. like the whole picture does a wave before it disappears. That’s what I saw. This obviously makes sense that sleep would look / feel like a machine being powered down because that’s basically exactly what it is.
While I’ve experienced my body being powered down as I fall asleep, I’ve never witnessed it happen from the outside. As it began to happen I noticed immediately and knew it must be sleep creeping in. So after a moment of “whoa, that was sleep. Cool”, my conscious mind ‘layed’ back down into my body and was turned off. But it was so interesting I had to share. I’m curious to hear others’ experiences with sleep. Leave a comment with your story!
