I know I've said before but... Hi, my name's Becca and I'm addicted to Tarot art. So needless to say I am IN LOVE with this new Tarot deck adorned with the beautifully impressionistic art of James R. Ead. When I first stumbled upon it and immediately had art lust for the blue hues of this uniquely mysterious deck my first thought was obviously, I must have it. But alas it is still in late phases of completion and can be found on Kickstarter, where you can pledge an amount of money, and even pre-order your Prisma Visions Tarot deck..Until tomorrow that is. In many eclectic spiritual practices, it is common to cast a circle, or bless an area before beginning any kind of Divine work, meeting with Spirit, or just giving praise. Often times, when creating that sacred space, or making an area 'clean' (energy wise) and protecting it from outside forces and energies; people will usually call in the four directions. 
While reading Tanya Paluso's book Open Your Heart, I came across a beautifully written section about calling in the four directions and setting intentions before doing anykind of spiritual work. 

It is my firm belief that everyone alive is psychic. Of course if you where to tell just anyone this they would either laugh and immediately dismiss the notion, or would become angry; because most christian based religions believe this gift as a trait or characteristic of "demons" and people who work with them. But I assure you it is a gift from God, and sadly one that can be, and greatly is, overlooked quite easily. Nevertheless, psychic ability / intuition / gut feeling / a sense of knowing (however you want to say it) is a natural ability that everyone is born with, just as the ability to feel or smell. But when a sense is never used and in most cases never even acknowledged, it can grow weak and hard to recognize. I believe God gave us this ability as a kind of direct line of communication with the Divine. Kind of like a Spiritual cell phone, that Spirit can call and give us a heads up or a helping hand or teach us a lesson. One of the many lines of communication that Spirit uses to access our psychic sense is through our dreams.
